Charger/lighter adapter
On my 03 Accord we've encountered a few devices whose car charger connectors will not work with the "plug" is there any kind of adapter out there available to solve this type of problem? Is there a work around?
Sorry if this is in the wrong location, wasn't sure where to open a new thread.

I've never seen an adapter, but I have come across a few plugs that you have to wiggle around & position them just right so they work. It's a pain and I never found a real good fix. Sometimes you can bend the side contact strips so they spring out more firmly against the sides of the socket.
I found (parts store or Radio Shack) a multiple outlet with a cig. plug. I use this because the "female car plugs" wear out and get funky, with pulling plugs in and out all the time.
I also have cut off the plug of the multiple and wired (fused line) directly to the battery. The only thing; it is ON all the time. Don't leave something on, it will drain the batt. Finding a hole in the dash is tough, I (carefully) drilled through the firewall.
