RE: CHECK ENGINE LIGHT
I would recheck the code to be sure that it is 21. The long blink is 10 and shorts blinks are 1.
To reset the ECU, just pull the radio/backup fuse in the engine bay box for a minute. Make sure you have your radio code to reenter. |
RE: CHECK ENGINE LIGHT
Nope, im not tripping i check just now...
it gives me 2 long blinks and 1 fast one... i did it 2 times already going for the third one right now. if i can ima put a video yep i took the fuse out the ecu fuse out too dont got a radio and well its still the same 2 long blinks one short one help |
RE: CHECK ENGINE LIGHT
How much of a pause between the 2 long & 1 short?
Code 20 = ELD Code 1 = O2 sensor |
RE: CHECK ENGINE LIGHT
Its like a 1 secong or 1 and a half second...
between spaces whythe question o2 sensor for what... |
RE: CHECK ENGINE LIGHT
I got real busy fora few days...
Yeah, for code 21, there's pretty much no pause between the long & short ones. ELD = electrical load detector. It's built into the under-hood fusebox. Your O2 sensor is in the exhaust manifold, #6. Check for dirty/loose/corroded connections at the plug. Check for insulation rubbed off, leaving bare wires. If you can rule out that kind of stuff, then get a new sensor. http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/...13SV40_E04.gif |
