bring it to autozone or equivalent place and have them read the code for you.

It could mean something big, could mean something small. We won't know until you report back with the codes. Be sure to write them down, they have a PXXXX format to them. If they make you scan it yourself, the OBDII connect is near the door, under the lower dash panel, it has a /=\ shape to it. You may have more than one code, so be sure to use the up and down arrows on the scanner.

Probably $100 for the diagnosis. Just take it to a parts store, it'll cost you $0 and it's extremely simple to do. I'm sure they can even help you.

Like it has been advised do not take it to the dealer just to read the code..
Autozone will do it free of charge, just write the code ( s,, could be more than 1 ) down and let us know.
A word of advice .do not go with what autozone tells you is wrong with the car,,Just let us know what the code is ,,

Also input in you sig the model v6 , 4cyl,, at, 5 sp, 2dr, 4 dr etc etc .. we know it is a 1999
