Ok I checked the codes for my 91 accord replaced both the coolant sensor and the tps sensor...reset the code...however the check engine light is still giving those two codes...both sensors are new....hellllpppp meeee

 

What codes are you getting?

#6 - ECT - this is the two wire sensor on the end of the head, below the dist? If that is the one you replaced, do you have a volt meter to do some testing?

#7 - TPS - Did you calibrate the new one when you installed it? I think, double check me, that at idle you get .5 v and WOT you should have ~4.5 v

For the ECT, did you replace the sensor that is under the distributor. I would have two wires going to it.

If the sensors are installed correctly, then you may have a bad ECU. Try clearing the ECU by pulling the 7.5 amp backup/radio fuse in the engine bay fuse box for a minute. See how long the code(s) take to return.

 

Okay I fixed the ECT...code 6 is now clear...however I'm still getting code 7 for the TPS what else can I try for this
