Choke Stat 87 Accord DX Carb

Default Choke Stat 87 Accord DX Carb

Hello. any help locating a choke stat for 87 accord? Thank you

Bone yard-they may want to sell the whole carb?? If it is a "u pull it" place you might be able to get around that-just know they have "pop rivits" holding the cover on so be prepared with a cordless drill. I've only replaced one, 7~8 years ago due to it turning on the alt charging light...yes on a 3rd gen carb there is feedback from the choke to the alt charging light...little known fact. I ordered mine from the dealer?

Thank you. I have found a carb in the Bone Yard and will try that. Sure would like to find the part new or referb.

Do you mean the choke stat, or the entire carb?

Agree with PA's ?....I'd see if a U-pull it place will let you just get the choke stat (or is that what you meant by your post?) or call the dealer for just that piece/price..might search online for someone that might sell just the choke stat.
