Default Clutch Slave Cylinder Problem!?

I bought a new clutch slave cylinder because the old on had a leak in the boot. I have installed the new one word for word given by the directions in the box and the ones here in this forum.

PROBLEM>>
I am still not feeling any pressure in the clutch even after I repeat the process of depressing the clutch pedal with quick strokes 10-20 times, holding it down, opening the bleeder screw on the cylinder to allow air and fluid to escape, tightening the screw and releasing the pedal. I have repeated this process over 5-6 times with no results. I am certain that all of the air has escaped due to the fact that all I see is dirty oil escaping from the bleeder screw and no air.

So what is the problem with it?

Heres some pictures of what it looks like...so far...

See all that dirty oil on the carboard? Thats all that is comming out of the cylinder. I dont see and air bubbles.
But also why is the oil so dirty?

Default Brand New Clutch Master Cylinder Installed!?

So one of my car geek friends figured that the problem could be in the Clutch Master Cylinder. Bought a new one, installed it, and there is still no pressure in the clutch I have bled the cylinder a million times but the clutch is still loose.

SOMEONE PLEASE HELLLPPPPPPP!!!!!!!! :confused :

are you doing the job by yourself?? because you need an assistant to pump the clutch pedal and hold it down while you open the bleeder screw......
assuming you are doing that, you need to bleed till oil comes out clean,,
also i have seen a few times that once system is bled, you need to drive the car a few blocks and pedal will come up ,,,,,,,Again assuming all the air is out of the system and all connections are tight and slave was installed properly

on a couple of occasions i have seen the part itself be faulty ..

Yea I got a friend helping me. Im not running around by myself out there. LOL

Yea im pretty sure I did everything right, all bolts are tight, all hose lines are back in and pinned,... Clean Oil NOW FINNALLY...note to others out there with the same problem(<<you have to pump clutch 10-20 times and bleed it, and repeat about 10-20 times>>)

O.K man I Guess I could put the radiator back in and try to drive it around a bit.

HONEST Q>>how will I change gears if the clutch wont work.

couple of thing;;
there was no need to remove the radiator to replace the slave cylinder ,,too
late now ...
if there is absolutely no pedal than you cannot try to drive the car ..
..
was it just leaking before?? there was a good pedal ?? if so, than the issue
lies with either a bad slave or not bled properly.(sometimes you really have to bleed it a lot to get all the air out)
if you feel that you bled it properly, get a different slave cylinder ,,..Don't buy
a chep one from checker, auto zone ,, if you can by an ADLER brand

IDC there was no room for my huge tools, plus I had to hammer out the pin holding the hose line to the cylinder.

I i turned the car on for a min but the clutch stayed the same so its off now.

There was definite noise from the clutch and the slave cylinder's boot was leaking.
The pedal would only feel pressure at the very bottom = NO pressure at the top, or middle only bottom.
Why does it matter which brand I get they do the same thing right>??

Geez I wish I would have looked closer at that picture. So obvious now that I notice those straps.

The slave piston is spring-loaded to push out against the throw-out lever, so without those straps it's a handful to bolt it onto the trans.

man u need glasses lol. couldof saved me 5 hours of work, $41.95 for a new master cylinder, and around 5 hours of bleeding.

Its all good though I had money for the Master, plus it was 10 years old too,..rusty...

could have saved time though...

P.S that picture is pretty big how did u miss that?
