Coolant Everywhere ?

I need help quick !!!!

As I was driving home today in my 92' Accord EX the car starting overheating, Luckily I was round the corner from my house as the needle was off the scale.

So I get home open up the hood to find coolant all over the place but unable to track the problem down.[:@]

Has anyone had this problem before ? Need Help please as I need my car everyday

damn overheating is not good. well you could have busted a hose, your radiator, or your water pump. most likely it was your upper radiator hose, or maybe the bottom one. 20 bucks and a little blood should fix it no prob.

on my 1989 325i my water pump seal broke and it would send the coolant all over the engine compartment. I know its no accord but, water pump designs can't be all that different.

most likely you blew a hose like Lightshow says...or a top tank on the radiator cracked...,, it is not the water pump,,,, water pump is inside timing belt cover if it were to leak coolant would only go downward ,,,,,,,,,chk the hose below the distributor , i have seen quite a few of those give away..
if you have a pressure tester , it is the best way to chk for leaks..

i would just fill it back up. turn it on and look for some leaks. dont let it get real hot though or you will start some other problems that you definately dont want to deal with. alluminum does not like to get real hot, and dont spray the motor down with the hose either.

Yep that hose underneath the distributor just blew on me 3 days ago, i thought it was the waterpump going out at first. but then i pressured tested it and the hose just went on my 1989 Honda Accord lxi coupe.
