cruise control not happening
I haven't had cruise since I did the vtec swap, I'm still using the original ecus (so no vtec), when I try to set the cruise, I get a green light but no response, I had recently replaced the compressor so I doubt it's that, is there anything I can try or could it just be it needs the right ecu?

I was having the same problem after my swap.
I was getting the green light when I hit the set button but it would not work.
I found that I left the vacuum line off that goes to the canister.
The vacuum line goes from the drivers side back of intake to the metal tube that goes across the firewall then to the CC canister.
Also is your cable connect correctly to the throttle linkage?

re: cruise not happening
Thanks, I checked and did notice the small rubber hose on the front of the cruise compressor going nowhere and I attached it to this thing on the intake manifold and still nothing.

that is not right.
There is no vacuum there.
It connects to the metal tube on the firewall and that connects to the back of the intake on the drivers side.
Now that thing you showed there needs to have vacuum going to it, I am surprised that you are not getting a CEL because of that.
Connect the CC to a vacuum source and it should work.
if you are not sure if it is a vacuum port or not start the car and put your finger over it, it will suck to it.

This may be totally unrelated with your cruise control issue, but. I have a 2003 Accord automatic. The cruise control stopped working. Long story short I had a bad brake control relay switch (the switch with the plunger that touchs the brake pedal arm). My brake lights where off as well (easy check). After replacing the switch, the cruise control engaged, and has been working ever since.

Please do not drive your car without brake lights.
