this message is directed to the DDM Tuning expert guy who just loves to tell the guys who are looking for an HID Kit, to get this brand and I've bought it on that note and love it.......BUT. I've installed them in the correct manor and have projector headlight (just saying), but when i turn the lights on i can hear a very high pitch hum, or whine coming from the transformers or whatever the black squares are.

now i dont know if will blow up and catch on fire cuz of it but thats the reason im posting. i just need to know if this is normal. If anyone has this Kit. check if yours does this same thing. but dont try to hear it with the car on thank you.

 

Yes that is completely normal. I have owned 3 or 4 DDM kits now and all of them have done this. It is just what HIDs do. It should die down a little after the initial start up.

 

ok thats is good. but another question. when im driving in town with the lights on and then go to the store or something, i shut the car off. but when i turn the car on again and turn the lights on. they have this burst of light and go right dim. eventually they are bright again. this normal??
