Default Details on how to replace slave cylinder

Year and trim accord : 1991 ex 4 door (dual exhaust) Honda Accord

Your request for a DIY write up : How to replace slave cylinder

Any additional notes that need to be added : the slave cylinder is mounted to the front of the transmission, right by the fan, real tight space to get into, just need a little direction on the best approach. Thanks

You might want to remove the fan & give yourself more room.

It's basically un-bolt it & bolt on the new one. Sounds easy, huh? Corrosion will get you (especially the hydraulic lines - flare fittings). Use lots of PB Blaster & let it soak in overnight.

OH yeah, for the hydraulic lines, get a flare-nut wrench. It's like a box-wrench but it's got a cut-out so you can put it over the tube. That works much better than a normal open-end wrench.

yeah, I had to get one of those when I first started on this, I realized that my normal wrenches wouldn't work too well. Thanks!!
