Default Distributor/ignition problems

I need help!!!

I have a 1992 accord 4 door lx and i had a leaking distributor and so i bought a used one but the used one had a coil inside the distributor and all i needed was the shaft because the bearing on the original was done. So all i took off the new distributor was the main aluminum distributor part, the shaft, the coupling and the orings and little washers and stuff. The ICM, CKP/TDC/CYP sensor, rotor, wiring, and capare all from the original distributor. I get that all together and put the distributor backin andhook everything back upbut the car does not want to start, it doesnt backfire, justturns overwithout starting. Would anybody know what i might have tocheck? maybe ignition timing??? if so, whats the best way to do it? or something else??

Alex
