Exclamation DIY - 2012 Honda (NOT v6) Transmission help

Hey everybody,

Total newbie question, but I need help.

I have a 2012 Honda Accord LX standard non-v6 model. I just changed the oil and now I want to change the transmission fluid. I need help locating the Drain plug as I cannot find it. I have youtube videos but most are in the 90s-2008 version, and it says the plug is on the passengers side.. took the wheel off and not there.. so i know its toward the driver side because but I just want assurance. Please help with a pic or diagram would highly be appreciated.

Why do you want to change the transmission fluid already?

What method are you using to determine if the transmission fluid is low?

Do you have a leak?

You really shouldn't have to change the transmission fluid at this point, and if you do there will be virtually no benefit to the transmission.

2011 "standard" non-V6 model... "Standard" meaning manual transmission?

I guess it's possible to have 70,000 miles on a 2-year-old car, but that's probably where Shipo's questions are coming from...

I'm still thinking no benefit from a fluid change.

My questions in your other thread is, "How are you determining the level is low, and do you have a leak?"
