Default DOA ENGINE

Ran a compression test on my 1997 Honda Accord to find out why its not starting.The plugs were full of oil.Need to know where to buy a low mi. used reliable enginevery soon! Thanks in Advance,

Clarify...

Oil sitting on top of plugs = valve cover gasket = easy.

Oil inside the combustion chamber?? = not so good.

If yuo want another engine, i would start by scouring the samvage yards around you. If no luck there, you could always try one of the online sellers, but you buy at your own risk there. I periodically check the salvage yards websites around here and I usually see reasonably priced Accord engines (usually between $300 and $750 or so). I actually just checked one of their websites and they had multiple engines for a 97, but they all said "call for price" [:@]
