Door Lock Problem!!!???

There has been a problem pop up on my girlfriend's 04 Accord EX. When trying to lock or unlock the car from the key fob you only get movement from the passenger doors and not the driver's door. At first I didn't notice the other doors locking/unlocking and thought it could be the battery on the fob going dead (have the battery but haven't changed it yet) but I have since taken notice of the other doors. Also with the all doors unlocked I have tried hitting the power door lock button but the driver door doesn't lock, then I tried one last thing just pushing the the actual lock plunger down and it locked all four doors. I believe that it is the actuator inside that door that is causing the problem but I am not sure. Also if it is indeed the actuator where could I get one, guaranteed to work, with out costing me an arm and a leg.
Thanks
Christopher

Can you hear the driver's door solenoid or just silence? If you hear noise, the solenoid linkage may be damaged, if silence the solenoid is likely faulty.
Door keylock mechanism is not detailed in earlier Accord manual, but it may require replacement of entire drivers door keylock assy to replace the actuator. You may want to geta pro for this job, as it requiresa lot of blind access work. Window probably must be removed.
