Default Door lock stops working

I have a 93 accord with a **** on the driver and front passenger side door that locks and unlocks all 4 doors. A month ago or so they stopped working, I noticed that when I put the key in to lock the doors from the outside after parking the car, Only my driver door locked with the turn of the key. The problem went away, today it came back, I bet tomorrow morning it will work again and ill be able to lock and unlock all for doors with the turn of the key on the drivers side door, but I want to know if something is going bad. Also the passenger front door locks and unlocks all four doors from the inside, but from the outside (this being a separated isuue) the key does not open this door, this started months ago and its never worked again.

So: how do I fix these two problems? why is this happenning? The only thing I know that happend today is that when it rained really heavy today and I open the door to get in some water did go into the aut control window panel that's on the drivers door, but I don't know if that even matters, I did take a towel and dried everything right after it happened. The other door however I don't know why I can open it with the key. I do not have an alarm on the car nor do I have a remote control that opens the doors. I don't know if the past owner had anything like that and removed it. I have the car 4 years and this is just starting now.
