Default Door Locks : Need Help

Just bought a 2011 Honda Accord EX 4cyl: the door locks do not lock when the ignition is started or unlock after the ignition is shut off? Is there anything I can do to fix/activate this feature?

Section 1 of this pdf will most likely solve your problem. I'm on mobile so sorry for pdf rather than a copy/ paste.
