Default Driver's side heater stuck on.

Hello everyone. My 2003 EX has had a rough 6 months. The lastes is that the heater on the driver's side is stuck on. In other words I turn the thermostat all the way down on both sides and the drivers side blows hot (really hot) and the passenger side blows cold (really cold). I'm guessing a flap stuck open somewhere? I search around and didn't find anyone with this exact issue.

Thanks!

Default I think this fixed it...

I found this doing a google search:
---------------------------------------------
HOW TO RETRIEVE A DTC (WITHOUT HDS)
The audio-HVAC display panel has a self-diagnosis function for climate control. To run the self- diagnosis function, do the following:
1. Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
2. Set the driver's temperature control dial or button on MAX Cool.
3. Press and hold the OFF button.
4. While holding the OFF button, press the rear window defogger button five times within 10 seconds.
The self-diagnosis will begin.

---------------------------------------------

After I did that it ran through the diagnosis and now it appears to be functioning normally. Hopefully it just needed a reset of some sort.

If it comes back, I would suspect a problem with the driver's side mode mix motor. Easy replacement. But, the trouble code would help narrow it down if the problem comes back.

Well it happened again. I ran the self-diagnosis and it fixed it again but I'm not seeing any codes. Once the self-diagnosis is done all of the display elements just blink over and over. Where should I see the codes?

Thanks to everyone on this forum! This is a great resource.
