Default ECU Codes

Hi,
My car facing some unkown problem and I couldn't found the solution here are details.
During drives the engine light comes and right away engine shut down and the engine light stay on, after stop the car tried to start again but fail and the Engine Light stay on untill you remove the key from ignition.
I wait for couple of minutes untill the Engline lights goes off then can start the engine and after little drive again engine light comes on and engine shut off.
I tried to take the Engine Light codes but the engine lights stay on and no flashing but when my car shut down and engine light stay on then I tried to take the Engine Light Code the got this in flashing mode.
LONG...PAUSE....SHORT...SHORT...SHORT...SHORT...SH ORT then pause the same code repeating.
Is the flashing means 15 codes if so whats then meaning of this code.
I can't drive my car as keep the engine shut down during drive.
I look forward to hear from you guys soon,
John

Code 15 for your year is "missing or defective ignition output signal".
From the description of your problem, I would have a test light to check that the ignition switch is putting power out to the dist on the Black/yellow wire.
When the engine stalls leave the key as it is and go under hood and test for 12 volts at that wire at the dist connection or coil

Dan you should open up your OWN post so members do not get confused on giving answers .. code 1457 is a leak in the evap system,, could be a # of things wrong,, needs to be properly diagnosed
could be evap bypass solenoid valve
evap 2 way valve
take it to the dealer or a shop that specializes on Hondas ......

...And next time Please open up a new post
