Default ecu location

Hey guys can anyone tell me where the ecu is mounted on my 09 ex l? Also where can i find a wirinv diagram for it. My obd II port wont show me any fault codes with code readers and says its not communicating with the car on large snapon scanners i recently installed a remote start on it and tapped into can high and low so i disconnected it from the harness and it still isnt working. No blown fuses anywhere and even though the vsa light cel and another light is on it still runs like a dream. When i called the dealer they said the vsa and cel light usually come on from an engine misfire but it runs great. Please help!

On 2003-2007 generation it was located on top the center tunnel under the stereo system.

You can buy shop manual download from automanualsource.com for $21.99 for 4-cylinder.

good luck

The ECM/PCM is located in the engine compartment, next to the battery.

If the diagnostic scanner is not communicating with the ECM/PCM, there is a whole series of troubleshooting steps (e.g., testing for voltage at certain DLC (Data Link Connector) terminals, checking fuse(s), checking for open in certain wires, etc.).

You may want to get the Honda service manual and/or the Honda electrical troubleshooting manual, they are separate manuals.
