Hey everyone, I am helping my cousin repair his '89 accord DX. Some facts that I know: the camshaft snapped and after the head was inspected, no valves or other damage was done. we will be pulling the block to change the head and do other maintenance.

I was thinking about swapping the A20A1 carbed motor with the A20A3 FI motor. The question I have is what ECU will I need to do this? I can't find the info anywhere. also, are there any websites you know of that carry parts from the older model Accords? If I change to FI I would also need the engine harness and ECU.

you have to upgrade the WHOLE fuel system from what I remember reading for a PGFI swap. I don't know much about the 3rd gen accords. But from what I remember reading it was not worth doing all the work unless you were gonna swap a b16 in the engine bay.
