EGR valve
My check engine light on my 99 accord 4cyl.Vtec has been on and I found a P0401 code, egr valve insufficient flow. Any recommendations? It is an expensive part, could it be dirty and can it be cleaned?

It could be the valve or the ports would need to be cleaned.
On the 99 4 cylinder, I think that you have take off the throttle body and the upper part of the intake manifold to clean out the EGR passage.
Maybe someone else can verify this.
