I just bought a 97 accord the tranny when I was stuck in some snow and the reverse clutch broke. I got a tranny from jdm after installing and went on test drive I notice the rpm staying at around 3000 doing 60 mph is this normal when in in d4 and going 60 if I drop to d3 the rpm goes up so I am thinkthink the overdrive is working any idea

Four cylinder motor or V6? I'm assuming an automatic transmission here.

Maybe the JDM transmission has lower gearing?

Look for the trans code stamped on the case. This page will tell you what the gear ratios are:

There are lots of trans ratio/speed calculators out there. Put the ratios and tire size in and see what the RPM is supposed to be @ 60mph.

Torque converter lockup works in both D3 and D4. This page explains how it should work:
