engine shuts off while driving

Default engine shuts off while driving

i have a 91 honda accord ex and when i drive it for 10 + minutes..the engine shuts off...it happened to me several times..while i'm driving home from work..luckily..there weren't cars behind me..or an accident might had happen..can anyone help me..or had the same thing happen to them..it shuts off and i cant restart the car..until a couple of hours later..

is it the starter???

That sounds like a horrible problem.
Joking aside, I don't have an answer, just wanted to notify you of the spelling error.

LOL LOL,, I see that foxylady is on top of things ....
Anyho....you need to find out wether car dies because lack of sprk or fuel..
most likely it is lack of spark . if it is . go to our DIY section there is a write up on how to test for a bad coil or ignitor,,

if it is lack of fuel there is also a write up on it ,,,,,,,there is a write up on hot to diagnose if it is lack of fuel .
need to do a bit of reading
