Exclamation Engine starts problem

Hi guys, I have a 1996 Honda Accord Sedan Ex model. My starter died out last week and I replaced it. For the first couple days it starts with no problem at all. Until yesterday morning it didn't start after a couple try.

I was wondering what's wrong with the car? Is it cap and rotor needs to be replace? Spark plugs and spark plug wires need to be replace as well? Thank You for your help.

P.s. Please me know parts number if possible. Thanks again

First, you need to figure out if it's lack of fuel or lack of spark.
There's a thread somewhere in the DIY section to help you figure that out.

It sounds like it's a spark problem..pull a plug out and see what it looks like..then post your answer in the forum here..

No, this sounds like a starter problem. Not fuel or spark.

So... whenever the starter cranks, the engine is able to start?
If so, then look for problems in the battery cables or connections. Corrosion/loose at BOTH ends of all the battery cables? What about corrosion where the actual wire is crimped into the end lug?

Then there's the starter itself. If it's not working, can you make it work by rapping the starter with a broom handle?

I checked everything from lose wires to corrosion and nothing is wrong. Starter and battery are both new so that's why I'm wondering about the spark plugs and spark plug wires. I haven't replace them two for a long times. My car is now 156,xxx miles. I will pull out the spark plugs later today when I'm on my break (I'm working right now) .

Well, now I'm confused about the type of non-start problem. If the starter fails to spin the engine, that can't possibly have anything to do with the spark plugs & wires.

Does the starter crank the engine or not? (speaking of the times when it doesn't start)
The answer to this determines the whole direction of what kind of things to check.
