So my car was running perfect today, but when i tried to start it up again, it would not start. The lights on the dashboard flickered erratically, and none of the electronics were working. I tried disconnecting the battery, and jumping the car. Jumping worked for a little, then when i drove it and put it in park, the same thing started happening. The dashboard kept flickering, until i took the key out. I think it might have something to do with the alternator. I do not have a lot of electrical equipment draining a lot of power, just a sub woofer which i just disconnected. The car is a 2005 so it is not that old, PLEASE HELP!

 

Likely a battery problem. Have the battery tested at a parts store.

 

yes it was, all i needed was a new battery.
