hi every body my name is brook and im new to the forum.
i bought a 1998 accord 2.0 LS ive taken the air filter box off the car and replaced it with just a sport filter,,it was working fine for a couple of weeks then the engine light came on it started to over rev a couple of times then it decided it doesnt want to tick over any more while stood still,
the engine light has turned itself off ,but still wont tick over when stood still,it still drives like a dream when on the open road ,but when in traffic it just wants to cut out,,
could anyone help me please

 

Even if the CEL is off there should still be a code stored.
Check thru the basics, fuel flow? Spark at plugs? Timing belt turning camshaft?
