Default Exhaust Systems

I have a 2005 Honda Accord Ex 4dr. I have been searching for a megan racing cat back exhaust and everyone that i have found has said that is is for a coupe, but doesn't specify if it will fit my 4dr or not. Will it fit? If not, where can i find one that will fit my car?

In the common DIY index, there is a parts compatibility link that I just made that should help you out.

I think the coupe exhaust is a few inches shorter, i had to extended a short pipe right after the cat to get it to fit a 4dr because i bought the catback system that was made for a 2dr, but that was on an 02 Accord.

seems like a cheap and easy fix. take it to a exhaust shop for installation, and they will have the extension to make it fit.

I wonder about these exhausts and wonder if this type or any type would really make any difference for pep for one like mine, the 06 Accord 3.0. I've heard lessening back pressure can sometimes hurt either low-end or top-end performance. I just don't know, and was wondering about that. If this cat back system is with LOUD mufflers, then I wouldn't want that. I would probably go turbo type mufflers. I often wonder about just switching to turbos. I don't know if a totally new dual system would work on my car. Mine is the EX and is "supposed" to have had some new exhaust modifications when they came out with this Accord.

Thanks

there are minimal differences

but you will pay handsomely for quality and style.

Think I'll stay stock handsomely. If it ain't broke, I won't "fix" it.

Thanks ~
