Default F22b1 ecu

Hello there, I'm new at the forum. After some days my mechanic told me that the problem of my 97 Accord was the ECU. I did A LOT of research about the ECU that I needed (since the tag is no longer visible on my ECU) and I found out that the code I was looking for was 37820-P0A-A51 (A51 A/T and A01 M/T right?). In some forums I visited said that, in some performance online stores mention that also, but in another forum was said that also POH ECU fit, so I got a little confused with this.

My car is a 97 Accord EX-R with a 2.2L F22B1 (SOHC non vtec) with Auto Transmition.

Im almost sure the 37820-P0A-A51 will work but I need the confirmation here from some people that know more about this.

Hope you guys can help me out with this.

Thanks!

Marco

I just found out that the 37820-P0H-L51 is said to be the one for the F22B1 also.

http://board.accordtuner.com/showthread.php?34595-f22b1-ecu

and in this article on ebay

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ECU-E...Q5fAccessories

Please someone tell me the difference between the 37820-P0A-A51 and the 37820-P0H-L51.

Hope someone can help me out.

Thanks!

I tried to lookup up the OEM part number. Is your accord just an EX, because I didn't see an EX-R as an option?

Yup, it should be... but I've heard that some Accords came here to Southamerica with a different type name, thats why I feel more confident on tracking down the ECU by the engine type (F22B1 SOCH vtec)

Thanks!
