Default Fender replacement?

OK, I ordered painted parts to replace my hood, fender and headlight. The hood and headlight don't look too tough but I don't know about the fender. Where can I get detailed instructions on how to go about replacing the fender?

Suggest a good manual for the 7th gen Accord.

automanualsource dot com is a place many have used. It is ~$22 for a download (hope you have a good internet connection) or ~$27 for a CD shipped.

Although the Honda service manual has certain body parts replacement instructions, fender removal is not in the service manual.

See this thread for the image from a body parts diagram showing the bolts that need to be removed for the fender. The inner fender (plastic wheel well), the bumper, and probably the headlight assembly needs to be removed before the fender.

Thanks Red! I viewed the link but it's kind of hard for me to follow. Can you explain the diagram?

Were you able to find this or did you have to follow the link?

PM me back if you had to follow the link......if you were able to find it, let me know as well.

Then we'll get into the breakdown of the link.

Essentially, after the inner fender (plastic wheel wheel, held on with mainly plastic clips, a few bolts will need to be removed too), bumper, and headlight are removed; you will look for and remove the bolts that hold the fender piece to the front fender bracket, upper and lower stays, and chassis. There may be 3M joint and seam sealer that attaches the fender to the front fender bracket.

Also, look at the replacement fender's bolt holes, that will help you locate the approximate areas where the bolts are for removal from the damaged fender.

If there is seam sealer between the front fender bracket and fender, you may possibly have to try to cut it with a utility knife to remove the fender.

Thanks! Yes I followed the link and saw the jpg. I've never done this before so it will be a learning experience. I hope I haven't made a big mistake.
