Floor jack, Accord and tire rotation: How not to maim yourself?
So, can one just use a floor jack to lift one side of the car in order to swap the tires around? Or do you have to lift the front end, put jack stands, and then do the same to the rear? That seems like a lo of work, though.
Seems like it would be lots easier to lift one side and go to work that way. What do you guys do? |
You need to get all 4 wheels off the ground so you can rotate and criss cross the tires from side to side and fronts to rears...:)

I lift one corner, put on the spare, then move to the next corner & go around like that.
Don't go under the car with only a jack. Be careful & stay out from underneath when removing a wheel. If you have to reach underneath the car, use stands. |
put the whole car up on jackstands
|
kick the lift arms under the lift points, walk over and push the button on the lift, raise it up chest high.
If man was meant to crawl around on the floor his back legs would bend like a dogs. ROFLMAO I really crack me up !! |
