Default front driver turn signal does not work

I have a 91 accord EX. I cannot find the problem to this issue. This blinker dash indicator blinks fast and the rear turn signal blinker works but blinks fast. I replaced front and rear bulbs. I have checked the 7.5a fuse in the dash and relay. relay clicks when the blinker switch is on. also theres a clicking noise. I also checked continuity on the blinker bulb connector which gives a 1215 reading. I can only think of replacing the bulb housing connector. Other than that any other ideas?

thanks

I would test the wiring at the bulb. The non-black wire should get a pulsing 12V signal to ground when you have that turn signal on. I would use a valve cover bolt as the ground.

Also check the black wire. It should have continuity to ground (~ 0 ohms to ground).

Also check the bulb & socket in the front. You say the indicator in the cluster and the rear lamp are working (but fast). Does the front lamp blink?

Rapid blinking is a sign of a burned-out bulb. You changed the bulbs, but what about a bent or broken terminal in the socket? You might be able to see & fix that without replacing the socket.

i checked the socket and i dont see any signs or bends or reasons to make a loose connection. i dont believe there much and if anything i could just return it.

Sorry, I'm the slow one. Are you saying the front bulb is not working?

Ok, sounds like you check voltage and got 12.15v, as PA suggested - have you verified ground?

What kind of meter do you have? I/we might be able to find the user guide online and help better, they are all pretty much the same.....just the "buttons and that" are in different places

You are wanting to measure resistance.

Or, with the ends of the meter hooked to the wires in the bulb socket, you should get a voltage reading....

Also my manual for the 4th gen isn't that good....what are the wire colors going to the socket? I have them as Green/Blue and Black

I have an Etek 10709. I did a light test and the results failed. I hooked the aligator clip up to the chasis and stuck the other end into the green/ylw socket but no light. the key was turned over and the turn switch was on. where should i look next?

thanks
