Welcome to HAF.
pretty sure the 4 and 6 cyl are the same......that being said, which one? There are actually two for the 7th gen's? Next question, why are you looking for the relay? What issue are you having? |

There is a PGM-FI Main Relay 1 and a PGM-FI Main Relay 2.
PGM-FI Main Relay 1 is FI Main. PGM-FI Main Relay 2 is the fuel pump relay. PGM-FI Main Relay 2 works in conjunction with PGM-FI Main Relay 1. PGM-FI Main Relay 2 relies on a functioning PGM-FI Main Relay 1 in order to supply power to the fuel pump. Honda TSB 07-020 But, it goes back to what is the reason you're looking for the relay. |
my car is starving for gas and won't start. it's been a continuous problem since July. This time I let the car sit for one day and now it won't start. it's a V-4

Just me but this "sounds/reads" like something else.
I'll assume the CEL has not come on while driving?????? Please answer. When you turn the key to "on"/pos II, the CEL should come on for a few seconds and the fule pump should prime - you have to listen really good to hear it "hum".....there is a panel in the trunk you can remove (under the carpet) and actually put you hand on the pump, when someone turns the key to "on". Are the spark plugs up to date? I think they are good for ~110K. If not please use NGK for replacements. |
