Gear Oil

Having trouble shifting gears I my 2001 honda accord manual transmission, do I need tranny fluid, gear oil or both? Where do I put the gear oil if needed?

Tranny fluid needs to be replaced every so often ^^^, but difficulty shifting can also be a dragging clutch.
When you put it in reverse, does it grind? - if so I'd look to clutch after you replace fluid.
