Hi im new here , my 07 honda accord 6 speed 2.2 diesel is having problems going into gear , its had new clutch , new master cylinder and slave cylinder and flywheel but im still having the same problem not going in to gear with out forcing it , ty sean

Then your clutch or the hydraulics are the issue. I don't know if your car has the same clutch as I have in my TL, but it has a "self-adjusting" pressure plate. The plate adjusts using springs, which are set at the factory, but which virtually always slip during shipment; if the pressure plate isn't reset before installation, then the issue you're describing is highly likely. That said, I would look at the hydraulic system first.

 

Just to add the slave cylinder pin is going in and out as it should , ots like it just needs that little bit more when you press clutch to go into gesr , thanks for your help .

 

Do you remember what the pressure plate looked like; did it have three springs surrounding the "fingers" as seen in the detailed photos for this clutch?

Unfortunately that is a "sample" picture; I'm thinking it doesn't necessarily represent the clutch which went into your car.

Also unfortunate is I do not have access to parts lists for non North American cars so I cannot look the clutch up for your car.

Assuming that's it, then the illustration shows a self-adjusting clutch. Assuming you used an OEM compatible pressure plate, then it could very well be you need to disassemble the lot and effectively start over (of course first adjusting the pressure plate springs to their "new" setting).

 

Is there any chance the the clutch plate will ajust itself over time .ty
