Default GLAD TO BE WITH THE FAM

Hello all. I'm new to this site. But not new to Honda my mom, 3 aunts, 2 cousins, and myself repersent Honda in our family. I recently got the deal of the century in my mind...2002 Honda Accord Sedan SE $12,000 with only 24,000 miles. I will post pics later. I have it going on a year in Oct. The reason I'm joining this site is for customization purposes...exclusive stuff.

My first question is for the angel eye headlights (black housing) can I just by them straight out and have them installed or do I have to by an HID kit to get them to work?

Second I see accords with the transformer emblem...I don;t want that particular one but where do you find stuff like that on the net?

Thanks for your time...lata.

Welcome!

i cant help you with the headlights, but I can with the emblem changeover. (could you get some pics of that transformer emblem? sounds pretty sweet)

basically its just as you would think. You remove the emblem on the trunk. I believe one of the emblems is glued on and the other is screwed in. I forget which one is which. The one with the glue might leave a dark spot beneath it if you pry it off, because the paint underneath hasnt faded. The one with screws will too, i guess, but there are two holes underneath it. Most people fill in those holes with body filler then put some touch up paint over the body filler. If you had an emblem you wanted to replace it with, you would either have to get some special glue that is used to attach it if it has no screw holes, or drill some holes in the trunk and screw it in. They should sell the glue at a stealership, but you might be able to find it cheaper online.
