Default Good compression test results?

Did a compression test on my 98 Honda Accord, 4 cyl.

Got 210 right across, same when I added oil. Is this possible? I followed all steps in the Haynes Manual accordingly.

The only time adding oil should matter is when you have a leak.

If you reset the gauge between cylinders, h*ll yes, you just proved it.

Your engine is good for 500,000; keep doing what you've been doing.
What have you been doing, btw?

210 is above the top spec (175 I believe) are you noticing any issues?

I have a M/C whose measured compression kinda new was 220 - 230, despite spec of 180.
Dealer's service said they seen several like this.
No problems so far - 8 yrs.
