grounding problem

Default grounding problem

SoI have a slight prob which I hear might be common with my accord,the head lights and dash lights dim for a split second whenI activate the turn signals and other accesories, I heard that it is caused byinadequite grounding? what would be the best fix for this prob since it is real annoying.

It also can be caused by inadequite battery reserve power, clean your battery cables at both ends, if your alternator in not too difficult to remove then brush up all the metal to metal contact areas on the mount, run a redundant ground from the alternator to the chassis and from the battery negative terminal to the chassis and from the negative battery terminal to the engine block, it looks like an Earthing kit would come in handy here.

As 2Point said, you need to verify your terminals and get your alternator tested.

After that, if it doesn't enhance anything, try the "Big 3 Upgrade", which can be found in the link collection in my signature

Thanks for the help as for the alternator and battery bothwere replaced last year by Honda by the previous owner, when I bought the car it also came with 2 Amps onefor the subthe other for the upgradedrear speakers I also thought that they might be part of the goundingproblem.I willtry cleanining thewire connections if has no effect will go with Big 3 upgrade.

clean your battery terminals and hookups. My shop teacher once was driving down the highway and the terminals got so corroded that it made the battery light turn on. he checked the battery and alt on one of the testing machines in the shop, both were fine, cleaned the terminals, and the light went away.
