Default Happy weekend!

Quick questions to all of you:

I've recently had my first dealer maintenance done on my 2009 accord coupe. Put on less than 200 miles on it since, overall still under 5K miles. The brakes work fine, appears to be more dust on the rims than normal though. My driving habits haven't change (weekend leisure only).

For the past two weekends, when I park there is a heavy burning oil & metal smell coming from the front wheels area, pop the hood and nothing wrong there. Look under the car and at the wheel, nothing got caught. Any ideas folks?

Thanks!!!

John

Question Hi Member

Check to see if your parking brake is completely released for starters...

If it's coming from the front wheels, it sounds like the front brakes are dragging. (Handbrake works the rear brakes.) Caliper slide pins dirty & not sliding properly? But really that should be a warranty thing.
