head unit lighting issues!

hi im new to this forum and i have an 03 accord ex and it has the 6 disc cd changer and one day recently the lcd screen, volume, and audio controls, and heating/ac/fan control lights all stopped working. the cd player radio andair controls all work, but just dont light up when i turn the lights on. i checked all the relative fuses and everyhting seems ok. i was wondering if anyone has encountered this problem and can give me some advice. thanks.
It's a common failure point on the 03's for the clock backlight to go out, and occasionally the stereo lights, but to have ALL the controls go out and stop working sounds like a fuse (did you check the under hood fuses as well), make sure they didn't wiggle loose.

yea i did check all the fuses under the hood and under the dash and they are all tight and not burnt. the heater controls do work and so does the cd player the only thing that is not working is the lights... just to clear that up a bit.

do you know what they did when they had your car? was the whole cd player replaced or fixed somehow because i do have a waranty under another dealership besides honda but it is very far and i was tryig to fix it without taking it in.
take it in. the warranty on the radio/climate control backlight has been extended to 7years or 100,000 miles - whichever occurs first.
we are removing the audio unit, taking it apart, replacing the audio unit circuit board(which comes with a heat pad now) and reinstalling everything. you also get a nice new radio code! yay!
stupid honda only pays us .8 for it...grrr....
