any direct fit 9006 will work, the problem is (from experience) the brighter bulbs like the g.e. nighthawk and sylvania type won't last as long as they burn hotter = shorter life.

it's got nothing to do with the harness...the bulb filament determines the output of the light/heat. the harness delivers 12 volts regardless, the bulb does the rest. the harness is happily ignorant to what goes on inside the bulb...

im curious with the harness of getting melt bec of the high watts of the bulb and burning too hot, so would like to know if the harness is capable of handling this type of bulb or it is only design to handle the stock 51W, on my previous car the harness was melt when i replace the bulb to a higher watts.

clear, well phrased question - as it was earlier. luck.

if you don't get a response within several days you'll have to do the experiment yourself.
I'd probably check temp by feel after 2 or 3 hrs of night driving.
hope you tell us the results...

this car is a euro model, but all things being equal, the headlight circuit already has relays. that would "esplain" the broken "engrish" as well...
