Default Headlights draining battery? Please help

I have a 2007 Accord. I’m having to replace the battery in it about once every two years (I’ve replaced it 3 times now in the past six years). Had it looked at, can’t figure out what’s draining it or why.

When I turn the car off, the indicator dings at me and the dashboard shows that my headlights are on even when I have the headlights turned off. I feel like these two things (battery and false indicator) must be related but can’t figure out how to fix it. Any advice?

A consistent parasitic draw like the headlight indicator could be causing your battery to repeatidly drain. The tricky part is figuring out why that light remains on. "Newer" accords staring in 03 use control units (mini-computers) to digitally send signals to turn on warning lights along with a host of other items. The network makes troubleshooting more complicated vs older accords.

Any chance you have a scanner or bluetooth adapter that can read codes?

EDIT: I moved this to general tech help, where you will likely get more help.
