Default heater core

my grandma has a 2007 accord with like 10k on it. we turned the heater on tonight and it smelled like something was burning. she said it had been doing that for a week. any of you guys know anything about what that could be?

Heater core leak is my first reaction. The hot coolant has a burnt smell. Not good to breath coolant fumes, so repair is indicated. It should be under warranty.

my grandma is like 73 and she thinks that new things should not brake of go bad... she is old school like 50's stlye... haha i have not talked to her yet i prolly will tonight
