Default Help

I have replaced the timing chain on my 2007 Honda accord, I have no bent valves and I don't have compression. What will cause this?

Need some more information. Did the original chain break, or severely jump time?

How did you verify you don't have bent valves?

Not much can cause compression loss when the timing chain jumped. Either your timing chain is installed out of time, or you have valve damage.

You need to remove the valve cover, then verify the timing marks line up on the camshaft when you set the crank to top dead center.
