Default help plz

hi i have a 1995 ex accord when i start driving rmp hit 3 the cel comes on then a few min latter u can hear the mfr click then d4 light flash and it revs out at 3 half i changed ecu tcu distributor ground wire from the battery and vtec solenoid plz help

cel code shows 21 and trans is code 14

So, address the codes? the 21 from the cel is for the vtec- low oil, bad pressure switch, clogged screen to the solenoid and a few others.

The 14 from the ecu is a bit if a concern.......testing could prove the tcu is bad.

oil level is good just installed a new vtec oil pressure switch and wen i did that i also clean the whole vtec billet screen and everything and still the same thing i noticed the vtec solenoid tens to get really really hot and also the main fuel relay gets really hot as well i cleared the code and it came back and dose the same thing

The single wire and connector to the vtec solenoid can be easy to damage (guess how I know this).

However, after repairing the wire, I had code 21 again. I checked solenoid resistance at ECM connector under the dash and got acceptable resistance (14-30 ohms). Used ECM from salvage yard fixed problem.

Trans code 14 can also be a ECM/TCM fault.

ok vtec solenoid un plug got 17 ohms the other side not connected got 35 ohms is that good

Sorry. Vtec un pluged test the wire going to ECM and is showing 35.0 ohms then I tested just the vtec solenoid and its showing 17 ohms

Resistance test must be performed on the connector at the ECM/harness connector under pax side of dash. Reading is between correct pin and local ground.

The 35 ohms reverse reading has no meaning since ECM is connected.
