high beam won't stay on

high beam won't stay on
Honda Accord 1990 EXR automatic
When I switch to high beams it doesn't stay on high beam, it slips right back to low beams. If I hold the switcher on high beam it stays on high beam, so I guess something has worn out. Is it a not-too-hard fix for a DIYer or something I should take to the mechanic? To give you some idea of my skill level last year I successfully struggled through replacing the rad.
Thanks, Steve

If it is the switch, no it not that bad. If you have air bags (don't remember the first years) BE SURE to read up on the correct way of removing the steering wheel.
EDIT: Double check me but I just looked at the diagrams and it looks like the 90 model did not come with air bags...sorry, should have done that first.
