Default is it hitachi or is it tec
I have a 1999 accord with the f23a1 , and I want to be able to tell if the distributor system is hitachi or tec withouth having to take it apart. does anyone know if this can be done ?

If I were you I would go to www dot hondapartsnow dot com and type in your VIN #.
click engine and distributor look at the drawing and see if the cap matches the one on your car.
