honda accord 1990

Default honda accord 1990

hi, guys my second accord 90 car just got 260,000 mileage on it. I hope to add more miles to it as the year roll by. What other maintainance should i watch out for to keep the car running. Thanks-

Well, you got that far, so you have probably kept after things like timing belts and spark plugs.

Fresh brake fluid every couple years (it absorbs moisture from the air & becomes corrosive).

Fresh antifreeze every couple years. Does it get cold enough to freeze? If not, you still need the anti-corrosion chemicals and THAT is the part of anti-freeze that gets used up over time.

Fresh power-steering fluid. This is not listed at all in the maintenance schedule, but I refuse to believe that any working fluid can last "forever".
