Honda accord 2004 4 Cylinder pick up problem
Hello,
I have honda accord 2004 4 cyl , 4 door. Lately I have noticed that pick up slow down so much. I just got new tire about 4 months ago and I thought I will see better pick up but its not the case. Whenever I am going uphill, I have to turn the AC off otherwise I feel like I can walk faster than my car.
I do oil change regularly in case anyone wondering that could be an issue.
Anyone have any suggestion / ideas. Any DIY before I take it repair shop.

My suggestion would be to go for an oil change with full synthetic , I usually go royal purple but mobil 1 is called for from some tuners, and change it every 4,ooo miles not what the maintenance minder states. Next I would go higher octane, again don't want the argument but I know this to work on older cars . Many will argue, don't follow the sheep try it and find out for yourself. My opinion, good luck.
Using premium fuel would be a mistake; stay with regular fuel and get the real problem fixed. Fact, fuel and an oil change will not fix your issues; there is something systemic which is wrong with either your engine or your transmission (more likely engine).
I'd start with having the codes read; if no codes come up, in spite of the fact I hate recommending throwing parts at a problem, changing the upstream O2 sensor (which can get lazy without throwing a code) can often cure acceleration and fuel economy issues.
