We don't have Accord wagons in that generation in the U.S. So, that circuit would not be part of the circuit diagrams we have available in North America.

Is the scanner giving you a specific code? I'm not sure on the setup, but is there any way for you to open the tailgate?

I'm not sure on the European Accord setup. The trunk release on the US TSX is just a 2-wire solenoid controlled by the MICU.

Let us know how many wires are going to the trunk release and we may be able to give some suggestions. Is the tailgate the only issue with your Accord?
