Default Honda dealerships selling parts online

I really hate the idea of driving 80 miles round trip to get a $1.00 O-Ring that apparently only fits Honda. Is there any Honda parts dept. that has an online sales?

Please read the posting rules.

I've moved this to General Tech.

Actually. I have read the forum rules. This didn't seem like a technical question to me, but I never claimed to know anything.

hondaautomotiveparts.com But they seem to charge a lot for shipping, even on small items like that.

I believe what Poorman212 is referring to, is to not post help questions in the DIY section of the forum. There are posted rules in that section regarding that.

There are many on-line Honda dealers: Bernardi Honda Parts, Majestic Honda, College Hills Honda, Honda Parts Now, etc., etc. HandA Accessories carries limited items on-line, and certain dealerships sell also on eBay.

There are many online Honda dealerships. I live in Louisiana, so the cheapest shipping rates I get are from a dealership in Texas (1Hondaparts.com). Haven't found one in Louisiana yet.

For a $1 O-ring maybe the "local" dealer will put it in an envelope & mail it to you - buy with credit card over the phone?

Default Found a good one

After looking at many sellers, all of whom use only UPS or FedEx (10-15 dollars) , and some that assess a separate "handling" fee of about 5 bucks, I finally found one that will send small stuff by USPS. I have placed an order so will see how it goes. I got the o-ring and a front timing belt cover at about 30% off list and a total of 5.85 shipping. I think they're in Arizona...Don't know if I should post the name (?).
